About the assignment We are looking for a unit manager in cleaning services for our client in Gothenburg. The position is a consulting assignment via Bemannia that is tentatively starting in early February and will last until May 31, 2026. The working hours are 75% of a full-time position, which means 30 hours/week. The work takes place during daytime.

Your responsibilities

As a unit manager in cleaning services, you will belong to the service department. You will be part of the cleaning management team consisting of a business manager and eight unit managers. You will work alongside two unit managers and a coordinator in the area. This assignment will require close leadership and your presence where the operations are conducted. Support is also available from the various support functions of the administration, such as finance, communication, and HR.

Furthermore, you will:

• Have financial, personnel, and work environment responsibility for a unit consisting of about 20 employees

• Collaborate with other functional areas and other administrations

• Deliver an efficient service organization, provide complete and secure premises, and also support local issues for those who are in the premises

• Actively participate in and carry out the planned activities for the operations

• Be responsible for daily scheduling and staffing planning with planned foresight

Your qualifications

• A university degree of at least 120 higher education credits in, for example, public administration or another equivalent education

• Experience in management roles within a politically governed organization, preferably municipal operations

• Worked as a manager for at least 3 years

• Experience in systematic work environment management and rehabilitation

• Hold a B driver's license

• Very good knowledge of the Office package

Meritorious

• Previous experience as a unit manager in cleaning services

• If management experience includes union collaboration
